As an artist, my life has been a diverse and fulfilling journey. It all began in the late 1970s when I was trained as a boatbuilder in DownEast Maine, honing my craftsmanship and attention to detail. However, my passion for creativity led me to explore new avenues, and I transitioned into the world of sign making. Over the years, I had the privilege of creating captivating signs for renowned companies like Cole Hann and J Crew, leaving my handiwork on the bustling streets. Additionally, my skills extended to crafting weathervanes that now grace the skylines of New England, echoing the region's rich history and charm. As an independent artist, I have ventured forth, channeling my unique artistic vision into various mediums, captivating viewers and leaving them with a sense of wonder. Currently, I am thrilled to showcase my work at the esteemed Fore River Gallery in Portland, Maine, where I continue to celebrate the beauty and power of art.
